Planning A Date Should Be Fun

Planning a Date Should be FunDo you get frustrated when planning a date? Are you running out of things to do on a date? Does your classic date night sound like this, dinner and a movie? Does planning a date require calling friends for ideas and days worth of planning?

If so, I want you to stop and think. Date planning should be the fun stage. It’s the foundation for creating either something boring and generic, like the movies and dinner, or something filled with creativity, uniqueness, and out of the ordinary that someone will remember for days to come. Plus, you’ll leave them wondering what crazy, exciting, interesting and outrageous thing you’ll be come up with next. Sounds like someone’s scored another date.

If you read my post Watch the Company You Keep, you should have a better understanding that your thoughts are a powerful tool that enable you to THINK your life (dating life) into existence. The All About Dating Guru believes if you’re not having fun when dating, you’re obviously not dating smart or dating for success.

Your feelings about planning and the effort you put into it is a true indication of your feelings about dating. And I hate to say it, how you may feel about the person you’re going on a date with…another a-ha moment.

Is it possible your thoughts, frustration and lack of interest in planning a date make it less appealing, more like a necessary evil rather than an experience?

Since I like each of you and have encouraged daily to motivate each of you to Date Smart… Date for Success™, I figured it was time for another date idea.

Can you recall the first time you went to the circus? Was it filled with laughter, smiles and lots of fun? Why not shake things up a bit and go to the circus. Yes, I said the circus. Now, if there was a hint of laughter when you read circus, I’ve made my point. It’s a fun and unexpected date. The circus has been described as an experience that will awe and inspire! Truly that is the way a date should leave a person, with the awe, motivation, and inspiration to see you again.
