Brandy

has been on my radar since her release of “It All Belongs to Me” with Monica. I am so excited about her highly anticipated upcoming CD. Brandy has grown into an amazing woman. Good music is often created out of tragedy and growing pains. Maturity gives you a new layer of character and creativity.

Teaming up with Chris Brown on “Put It Down,” at first I wasn’t sure how the compilation would sound. However, Chris Brown’s new electronic sound works for Brandy. I believe this is the sound Brandy needs to see her way back to the top of the charts. It’s a sound that gives her edge but also gives her the opportunity to show her range as a singer. A true singer like Brandy has the talent and voice that is not overpowered by the electronic/synthesized sound in songs today.

“Put It Down” will be featured on Brandy’s forthcoming studio album “Two Eleven.”
