After seeing his first product line, Flirtatious-T, sported on countless backs including Whoopi Goldberg’s, Kendra Wilkinson’s of The Girls Next Door, and Bre’s from America’s Next Top Model, Wesley was eager to reach a larger market beyond t-shirts, thus launched Urban FLRT in 2011. His background in the financial industry as a senior corporate trainer combined with his unyielding fascination with fashion and pop culture are proving an incredibly successful blend in designing Urban FLRT.
To further enhance the Urban FLRT brand Wesley developed UF Lifestyle, a site that promotes healthy living by highlighting events, dating, urban lifestyle, restaurants, and entertainers. There are contributors from across the globe. Urban FLRT in combination with this venture is sure to facilitate his ultimate goal of changing the connotation of “urban”.
The purpose of Urban FLRT is to provide quality fashionable street couture at an affordable price point. It’s targeted towards fashionistas, entrepreneurs, moguls, and jet setters and all who dress the part. And is slated to reach status similar to Baby Phat and Phat Farm in their heyday, except with Tom Ford’s staying power. Plans also include launching an Urban FLRT perfume line, and underwear for men.
