Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover

urbanlandmedia.com My mother always told me never don’t judge a book by its cover and after watching this YouTube video of Opera duo Charlotte and Jonathan’s “Britain’s Got Talent 2012″ audition, I believe it’s a testament to the saying. Often times we are quick to judge another person without taking the time to either know them or step outside ourselves and remember we all are judged at one time or another.

As a spiritual person, my belief ensure me that God is love but I also believe judgement is what keeps us from true understanding and having deep compassion for one another. Jonathan is a true example that no matter the color of your skin, weight size, sexual origination or how the world views you, we all have a gift from God. Love is God…God is Love and when you hear the The Lord’s Prayer you have to stop and give thanks for our own blessings and gifts. Judgement is blinding and closes the heart from giving and receiving love the way God intended.
