Last month saw the launch of a new partnership from world famous watch manufacturers TW Steel, this time with former Destiny’s Child singer and former X-Factor judge Kelly Rowland.
Ms. Rowland has become somewhat synonymous with collaborations in recent years with musical hits that include team efforts with David Guetta, Tinie Tempah, Nelly and Lil Wayne to name but a few, so this new collaboration is surely in good hands with good luck charm Kelly at the helm.
The launch event was held at The Standard in New York and it saw the official unveiling of the two watches that Kelly, along with the designers at TW Steel have created, one in pink and one in blue. Both watches feature zirconia baguette set bezels, leather reptile skin detailed straps and gold tone casing, creating bold and stylish designs.
Kelly attended the launch in a stunning red dress and some strappy gold heels, which complimented the pink version of the watch that she was wearing. The fact Kelly teamed the watch so effortlessly with such a formal gown not only shows how stylish she is, but how versatile the watches are, casual enough for everyday wear, yet smart and elegant enough to compliment almost ay outfit on any occasion.
Along with the individual characteristics that Kelly has introduced to these unique watches, they still maintain that TW Steel feel, with their oversized designs and metallic casings. But now with these new twists that she has brought in TW Steel now have something special for the ladies who like oversized watches!
The price of the blue watch is £775 and the pink version is priced slightly higher at £795, both relatively reasonable prices for such prestigiously designed watches from one of the worlds best known quality watchmakers.
