The Cosby Show is a staple in pop culture and Keshia Knight Pulliam is someone we’ve grown to love and someone we’ve watched grow up right before our eyes.
From the Cosby Show to the Paynes, you would never think that Keshia would end up on a reality show.
In today’s world of pop culture, reality TV and celebrities only equate to a starving or dying career. Although Keshia’s career is far from dying or in need or a career boost it takes getting used to hearing that she’s on the ABC reality show Splash.
Splash is a reality competition series that premiered on March 19 on ABC, where Steve Foley and David Boudia are judges while Greg Louganis will mentor celebrities as they learn how to dive from extreme heights from week to week.
The moment I heard that Keshia Knight Pulliam was participating, I was surprised she would take part in a show like Splash. However, after watching Wendy Williams, I found that her response to joining the show was thoughtful, insightful, and most of all inspiring. Her response showed that research and the power of knowledge outweighs the obvious, which is why I believe Keshia will always be a star. Unfortunately, as I was writing this Keshia was the first contestant to be eliminated. However, her response on Wendy to why she decided to do the show was worth sharing.
