Meet Mark Vox DJ

Mark Vox DJAs Creative Director for Urban FLRT clothing and one of the editors of Urban FLRT Lifestyle, I learn about talent from all walks of life. It’s always exciting for me to share with others those talents from other parts of the world. On this trip, our final destination is Italy. At UrbanLand Media we believe that music and fashion could not survive without the other. Similar to music, music can’t survive with out the DJ. This next DJ interview is someone I believe is talented, who delivers gripping beats and someone I’ve been listening to for a while now. Mr. Mark Vox DJ is from the city of love who chats with Urban FLRT Lifestyle to give us a piece of him and a taste of the Roman flavor. Sit back and enjoy your flight with Mark Vox.

Q. What gave you that initial push to become a DJ?

A. Hello everyone and especially thanks Corey Wesley for giving me the chance to do this interview. I do not know exactly what prompted me to start being a DJ, I always had from childhood a great love for music, a passion that in time I had the opportunity to grow.

Q. What was your first record you bought?

A. I bought so many … but think about it … the first record I bought, was “Mystic Force – Physic Harmony” an old prog, disk memorable of the 90′s. LOVE!

Q. Where do you live?

A. I live in Italy in the beautiful and unique capital ROME!

Q. Which other countries have you played/put parties on?

A. I started here in Italy in clubs and radio including Radiozerosei, RadioErreDue, MadzoneGeneration, but over time I decided to dedicate myself abroad. I was a guest on many radio in England like PureLoveLive Radio, Manchester Global Radio and many more … And now we are organizing the concerts for this new year full of surprises with all my staff.

Q. What do you do outside of the dance music scene?

A. I live my life with my wonderful family, my wonderful girlfriend, and my CRAZY friends!

Q. Out of all the tunes you have, which one ‘never fails?’

A. There are many other equally important and beautiful songs … my favorite “FPI Project – Going Back To My Roots (1989)”… Unforgettable!

Q. What advice would you give to up and coming DJs/Promoters?

A. My advice for the emerging dj and producers, is to apply themselves with the utmost dedication to using all the channels. Nowadays the possibilities to emerge and to make themselves known through internet are endless. In regard to the promoters and the label manager, I think they should pay more attention to the emerging talents. How? Checking the email, for example.

Q. What upcoming projects do you have?

A. We are working together with my staff on many collaborations, many talents that I have encountered in my career, and we are building something great! But I can not say more!

Q. Who are you collaborating with on with these projects?

A. I’m focusing a lot on my singers and rappers with them … I have a great team of remixers including, Vincenzo Bottiglieri, Joe Manina HitFinders, Vyro,Ason ID,Raulio…. In my next album will be present Dj DX, David Wesley, Mj White , Chawa C, KennedyLovesMe, Maxxdrums, E-team …. and many more …. Look at the Teaser 2012 to learn more!

Q. What makes these projects unique?

A. I believe that all these songs makes them unique, and surely the commitment by all staff, to convey to the public their love for the music … and to share our thoughts with the world of music.

That's all we have to say on the subject

The man behind the brand Urban FLRT. COREY WESLEY is no stranger to hard work and what it means to go after your dreams. COREY had a successful career in the financial industry as a senior corporate trainer, however, with the downturn in the economy he had to switch gears. He turned being laid off from his position into an opportunity to create his own job and pursue one of his passions, fashion.
