Waking up this morning to find out that President Obama was re-elected, I was elated with joy. Yes, I was happy that he has another opportunity to try and make some changes in this country and hopefully without so much adversity he faced during his first term.
However, the more I think about the election and what was on my mind before and while voting, the well-fair of the country was the first but secondly our First Lady was on my mind. If I’m not mistaken I believe Michelle Obama has been truly one of the most embraced, treasured and admired First Lady’s I can remember. On election day, I was also voting for my Queen. I wanted her to still represent our country and be the representation of the American woman, powerful, beautiful, intelligent and who can rule having it all.
It all came together for me today when I heard this song “Queen by XELLE.” Although, we do not have Kings and Queens in our country I believe Michelle Obama comes close enough. Michelle Obama was the inspiration behind the latest t-shirt design, African Queen now available on UrbanFLRT.com.
Our First Lady is truly a classy lady who reminds me of the true queen in my life, my mother. I am happy everyone went out and voted and gave our President another 4 years. Which is another reason we all belong on the dance floor celebrating!
