Rihanna’s new video, “Where Have You Been” is serving up major and epic fashion; it’s fashion to the tenth degree.  However, before I reveal my next opinion, I want to make it clear that I would never down play another artist to make a point but this video is what I was hoping to see when Beyonce came out with “Run the World (Girls).”  Don’t get me wrong, I love B. but this Rihanna video is one epic video.

My heart aches because the dancing in the video surpasses the highly anticipated “Run the World (Girls)” video. In my opinion both songs are hot and worthy of Urban FLRT talking about but Rihanna’s is nothing but perfection.  It’s fashion forward and electric.

Although, “Run the World (Girls)” was a success, I believe if the video was more dynamic, offered over-the-top imagery and more fierce choreography, the song would have been a mega hit.  I believe Rihanna has the right formula for this video for a song that is sizzling hot.

In all honesty, I am ready to put on my fiercest Urban FLRT t-shirt and go dancing.
