Paige Thomas Sings For Her Life

One of my favorite contestants was almost eliminated last night. However, during the sing-off; Paige did what she was suppose to do and that was sing for her life. I was floored by her performance. urbanlandmedia.com

Some have said that her vocals are weak but her survival performance proved them wrong. Honestly, I was surprised she ended up on the bottom two this week. However, I have to agree with something Simon Cowell said last week. Demi Lovoto, who is her mentor on the show might not be picking out the right songs for her and the production of her last two performances either had a lot going on behind her or too theatrical. He felt she might be getting lost with so much going on around her while performing.

Simon was right! The song she sang for survival was Coldplay’s “Paradise.” It was the perfect song choice. Plus, there were no theatrics or a big production behind her. She was solo last night with nothing to distract us from listening to her and seeing how talented she really is. It’s exactly what Simon mentioned last week.

I was immediately drawn to Paige Thomas when she hit the stage during the auditions. I can’t place my finger on it, but there is something about her I like. Ever since then, I have been rooting for Paige Thomas. Her survival performance was a defining moment because she proved she belongs in the competition.

Check her performance that ultimately saved her from being eliminated. Make sure keep voting for Paige Thomas!
